The purchase of a home can sometimes be the most significant investment in a person's life. We understand the significance. Our firm has extensive experience in residential real estate transactions. A lawyer – not a paralegal – will be responsible for the significant steps in the transaction. We encourage clients who are purchasing property to hire an inspector to thoroughly review the condition of the property. Our clients discuss the results of that inspection with an attorney. We then counsel clients on what issues to negotiate with the seller. We also review contracts and related documents to ensure your interests are protected. We work with the parties involved and schedule a closing. We attend the closing and examine the documents involved in the transaction so that the client understands any documents he or she must sign at closing. Finally, we make sure that the terms of the contract are fulfilled at the closing.

We also handle commercial transactions as well. These transactions can be particularly complicated, depending upon the type of commercial property being bought or sold. We have the experience and skills to represent your interests in these matters.
